Data privacy: Netatmo offers only a mediocre level of control and transparency over your data. They are not doing as good a job as others are with regard to collecting only necessary data, giving you control over its use, and limiting how your data is shared or sold.
Response time: This model sends its alerts to its app within 7.2 seconds on average, which is on the slow side, impeding your ability to be responsive to situations.
Smart features: It works with smart-home systems such as Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Apple Siri, Google Assistant. You'll need to install the Netatmo Home and Security app on your smartphone. Netatmo claims this model has recognition algorithms that can detect people, and animals. Netatmo may offer additional features that require a subscription and/or a firmware update.
