Road Test

The Volvo S60 is a nice car, but fell short in this highly competitive class. It is neither a sports sedan, nor is it particularly luxurious. Still, we liked its turbocharged engine, fairly quiet interior and comfortable front seats. However, it lacks agility, ride comfort and rear seat room. Some of the controls are awkward as well. On the other hand, as you'd expect from a Volvo, the S60 earned very good scores in government side-impact and insurance-industry crash tests.

In most cases, automotive warranties are based on the vehicle identification number (VIN), and the warranty will be valid regardless of ownership. The dealership can tell you exactly how much warranty is left.
