The Suzuki SX4 can be an alternative to a small SUV for those who want all-wheel drive at a low price with compact dimensions. No other all-wheel drive vehicle was this inexpensive when new. We tested the hatchback, but it's also available as a front-drive sedan. We found the SX4 to be a handy runabout with good handling and great visibility, but the ride is stiff and the engine is underpowered and noisy.
