Subaru Legacy

Redesigned for 2005, the Legacy GT combined a powerful turbocharged engine with sports-car agility and a comfortable ride. It's among the sportiest and most fun-to-drive in its class. The interior is quiet and hospitable. Fuel economy, however, is a paltry 18 mpg. The Legacy also has a disconcerting tendency to slide its rear end if the driver goes too fast into a corner and suddenly lifts off the accelerator.
