Saab 9-7X

EPA MPG: NA

CR's Take
Saab's first SUV is based on the outdated Chevrolet TrailBlazer/GMC Envoy. The five-passenger Saab has an upgraded interior that includes traditional Saab cues, such as an ignition switch between the front seats and Saab dash vents. The 9-7X has a stiffer ride but more responsive handling than the TrailBlazer. The all-wheel-drive system lacks a low range. Six- or eight-cylinder versions are available. Crash-test results are unimpressive. General Motors ended production of the 9-7X, TrailBlazer, and GMC Envoy.
