Road Test

The freshened Nissan Maxima has a roomy interior, logical controls, and quick acceleration. However, the ride is ordinary, handling is not agile, the turning circle is wide and the car can be somewhat squirrely under hard acceleration. In some ways, the less expensive Nissan Altima is a better car.
