CR's Take
Nissan's flagship midsized sedan was redesigned for 2000. It's much improved, although the changes are evolutionary rather than radical. The car retains its unsophisticated platform. The ride is stiff. The seat and driving position have improved, as has the steering. Handling is secure and predictable. The powerful and refined V6 added 32 hp and makes the car very quick. The automatic transmission shifts very smoothly. Fit and finish are excellent, and there are some nice interior details.
