Kia Amanti

EPA MPG: 20 mpg

Road Test

The Kia Amanti is not up to the level of the better cars in this class. Its soft ride isolates the cabin from road imperfections, but the car feels too buoyant to be comfortable. With reluctant handling and a lack of agility, the Amanti is the worst-handling passenger car we've recently tested, although its optional electronic stability control (ESC) keeps it secure at its handling limits. The V6 engine produces satisfactory power, but the Amanti is still fairly slow and fuel economy is unimpressive. On the other hand, the upscale interior has notable fit and finish.
