""This concerns the Wireless Accessory Charger: It overheats any cellphone that is placed on it. This problem has occurred from the time first day I owned the car. I picked up the car from the dealership and we decided to visit our daughter whose residence is about a 3-hour drive from the dealership. My cell connected automatically to the car's Auto Android system - which I discovered very quickly runs down any cellphone battery very quickly. About 1.5 hours later, I got a low power (10%) warning from my cell and I then placed it in the wireless accessory charger tray. About 1.5 hours later, as we were nearing our destination, I noticed that it was only charged to about 25% which seemed very slow to me. On arrival at ny destination, when I reached into the charging tray to retrieve my cell - the cellphone was hot to touch. I was stuuned at this and immediately thought that there must be a fault in the charger. NB: I have frequently used these wireless chargers in my home (I have 4 of them) and other locations many times - I rarely use wired chargers - and have NEVER experienced anything like this overheating before. Also, my experience with other wireless chargers is that my cellphone can go from 10% charged to fully charged in about 2 hours. Later that evening, on our way back to our own home, my wife placed her cellphone in the car's Wireless Accessory Charger and her cellphone experienced the same overheating problem. The next day, I took it back to the dealership and told them about the overheating problem. They tested the wireless accessory charger and told me that it was performing to their specifications and blamed the issue on my phone. I asked them isf they put a cell in the charger to for the length of time mine was in the charger - they said no, and that they just did an electronic check on the device. They told me that hey had not seen any service bulletins on such a problem and refused to do anything further. I called Ford Canada and was told the same thing and they simply referred me back to the dealership. We have not used the car's wireless charger again.""

"There was a loud noise with driving one day only about 6 weeks ago. I recorded the noise. There was no service indicator lit up on the dashboard. The noise may have been related to braking and/or having the AC on a higher level. The noise could be heard also when pushing on the brake for about 45 seconds when the car was off. The noise could not be duplicated by the Ford Service Center. As a result the source of the noise could not be identified."
