Chrysler Pacifica

EPA MPG: 19 mpg

Road Test

For 2007, the Pacifica got a much-needed new engine with more power, as well as a new transmission. With those updates, we found it to be a pleasant, comfortable, and relatively responsive cruiser. The Pacifica is a true crossover; its ride height makes it feel more wagon-like than other SUVs. Its second- and third row seats accommodate two people each, unless you get the base five-passenger model. That limits the Pacifica's capacity to six people, which might be a drawback for some buyers. We also found the visibility limited by narrow windows and wide roof pillars.
