"Received recall notice of catalytic converter and took to Dodge/Crysler Dealer on Aurora Ave in Seattle and told didnt have part and would be put on waiting list and contacted when part arrive. Six months later Called Chrysler and told they had shipped supply to dealer. Called dealer and told didnt have pat and would be put on waiting list. Told them I was told I had been. Said they had no record. Havent had part replaced as had to wait approx approx 2 hours first visit and assume dealer doesnt want to waste time on work they wont get paid for."

"The problem started when the car failed to start. It would crank, but would not fire. I tried to resolve the problem myself by replacing the EGR valve. This failed to solve the problem. I took the vehicle to my regular mechanic. Upon inspection, I was told the problem was with the gas tank. Since this part is dealer-only, the cost of replacement would have been substantial. However, after letting a more experienced technician diagnose the vehicle, the problem was found to be with the fuel pump, a much less expensive repair."
