In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

What Owners Say

Display screen freezes up

""When it started it was intermittent. Once a week it would get bad then it cleared up. Later it became more frequent. Now its permanent. I cant change any settings or see the backup camera. Even worse, when I tried to fix it I managed to change the system language so all the alerts are in Spanish.""

Anonymous A., FL (2017 Chevrolet Volt LT 1.5-L 4 Cyl plug-in hybrid)
Display screen goes blank

""On two occasions the display went blank, back up camera worked. Both times the control box in the trunk failed, likely due to rain water flooding the trunk area. Replacement control box over $1300. Got junkyard replacement but needed to be reprogramed with vehicle VIN. Found company back east to do it for $210.00. Total cost for the replacement about $300.00 both times. I now have a spare to cut the replacement time.""
