Road Test

The XLR is an elegant hardtop convertible with a refined powertrain. But despite being based on the Chevrolet Corvette, it feels less sporty than the less expensive Cadillac CTS and STS sedans. Unlike the Corvette, it uses Cadillac's smaller, less-potent Northstar V8. Ultimately, the XLR comes up short in ride, handling, and interior refinement.
