Elevate Command is part of the
Vacuum Cleaners test program at
Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, Upright Vacuum
models like the Elevate Command are rated on multiple criteria, such as those
listed below.
Carpet:
A high score means the vacuum effectively removes dirt from medium-pile carpet. A top-scoring model picks up everything from fine particles such as sand to larger items like Cheerios.
Bare floors:
A high score means the vacuum effectively removes dirt from bare floors such as hardwood. A top-scoring model picks up everything from fine particles like sand to larger items like cereal.
Hose suction:
A high score means the vacuum has a hose with strong suction. A top-scoring model will provide adequate suction when using vacuuming tools such as the crevice tool.
